The comfortably furnished, well-equipped bungalows at Catherine Park are solidly constructed and double glazed. All the bungalows are non-smoking.

Elm which has laminated flooring throughout, has two bedrooms, sleeping up to four, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds.

The lounge has a dining area. Well behaved pets are welcome but by prior arrangement only. Air conditioning.

Willow has two bedrooms sleeping four to five, comprising one double bedroom and the second with double base with bunk bed over.

The lounge has a dining area, and well equipped kitchen area with full size cooker plus a microwave. TV, video and DVD player are provided. The shower room has a separate wc.

There is a small secluded private south facing garden area at the rear, with table and chairs, overlooking open fields. Well behaved pets are welcome but by prior arrangement only.

Elm, Yew, and Holly all have an outside seating area with patio table and chairs to the front with flower tubs and hanging baskets.

Ample level parking is just a few yards from the front doors, particularly welcomed by those who may have difficulty walking. Disabled guests are of course most welcome.

All beds have duvets and there are extra blankets if required. Freshly laundered bed linen is included in the price but you will need to bring your own personal towels and tea towels etc.

There is a laundry room with washing machines and a tumble dryer; irons and ironing boards are also available.

The superb heated swimming pool, which is sheltered and surrounded by foliage plants and climbing roses etc, is usually open from late May until September, depending on the weather, sometimes even later!

It is a real sun trap and is a pleasure for both the swimmer and for those just wishing to relax in the sun to watch others enjoying themselves!

The grounds at Catherine Park extend to some three acres of well-stocked informal gardens, including:

• an enclosed children's play area
• a barbecue area
• picnic tables
• a portable barbecue.

From the grounds the uninterrupted panoramic rural views are truly magnificent with hills, fields and valleys extending for miles around. Bodmin Moor forms the backdrop to our view and on a clear day Dartmoor can be seen in the far distance.

Extensive woodlands are just two minutes' walk away, and for the more energetic, the lovely coastal footpaths are easily accessible and there's golf, tennis, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, riding.
