Catherine Park is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and its central location in South East Cornwall offers easy access to the many attractions in the local area and further afield.

The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, just a short drive away, with their sandy beaches, coastal walks, deep sea fishing trips, crab fishing, pubs, restaurants and cafes, have something for all the family.

Further along the coast is the seaport of Fowey, home of Daphne du Maurier. Fowey is a haven for yachts and with its many interesting shops, restaurants, cafes and galleries is well worth a visit.

The city of Plymouth with its wide range of shops, the historic Barbican and Hoe and the renowned National Marine Aquarium is also within easy reach.

The world famous Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a 45-minute drive away and are a must to visit.

Bodmin Moor with its sweeping moorland, rugged tors and prehistoric remains offers miles of walks through spectacular scenery and is the home of the legendary Jamaica Inn.

The old mining village of Minions, which lies close to the famous Cheesewring and the Hurlers stone circles, has a fascinating visitor centre as well as a number of cafes.

A little further afield the dramatic scenery of the north coast offers a complete contrast to the softer and gentler south coast.
